Valkyrie

Tom Cruise, Kenneth Branagh, Bill Nighy, Stephen Fry, Terence Stamp, and Eddie Izzard star in this dramatic thriller about German officer Claus von Stauffenberg (played by Cruise) who led an attempt to thwart the Nazis and end World War II. Von Stauffenberg creates Operation Valkyrie with plans to create a shadow government after Hitler is killed. Soon, he finds himself not only a member of the conspiracy, but its main player who must seize control of the German government and then kill Hitler himself. Patrick Wilson, Tom Wilkinson, Carice van Houten, Halina Reign, Kevin McNally, Christian Berkel, and David Schofield also star. This film is out Oct. 3.
